Help Kids Now

Community Youth Mental Health Program

Our children are facing an unprecedented epidemic of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression and stress - too often leading to suicide, even in children as young as age 6. There are myriad reasons for this, including isolation, cyberbullying, unmet basic needs, social pressures, trafficking, substance abuse and many others.

Gainesville-Haymarket and Warrenton Rotary clubs have partnered on a signature program called Help Kids Now to address youth mental health in our community. Proceeds bring:

  • Professional therapy and/or life coaching to at-risk children
  • Funding for the prevention of cyberbullying and human trafficking
  • Support for foster children in need of advocacy
  • Food, clothing and financial support for school-aged children
  • Support for families of Veterans in crisis
