Gainesville Haymarket Rotary Club Scholarship

The Gainesville-Haymarket Rotary Club awards scholarships that recognize an outstanding student leader graduating from High School this year.  Rotary is a global network of more than 1.2 million members who believe in Service Above Self.  We are community and business leaders representing different professions, experiences, and perspectives, but with a shared desire to connect with others to address the challenges affecting our community and communities worldwide.

 Award Criteria

The committee charged with selecting the Gainesville Haymarket Rotary Club Scholarship recipient will evaluate various criteria in assessing applicant qualifications.  The requirements will include, but are not limited to, the following:

1. High school leadership positions held within the last four years.
2. Accomplishments attained while holding leadership positions.
3. Community service outside of high school during the past four years.
4. Awards earned during the past four years.
5. Scholastic achievement.
6. College and career goals.
7. Quality of Application (Organization, Completeness, Grammar, etc.)

We will reopen scholarships in the Spring of 2026.
